Dear Sweet Child,
I see the fears that hide in your heart, the ones that surface when no one’s around, the worries that make you question who you are and if you’re enough. You wonder why things happen the way they do, why you face the struggles that seem so unfair. If only you could see what God is preparing you for, the plans He’s crafting just for you. There’s so much purpose wrapped up in your journey, and I wish you could glimpse even a little of the life He has waiting.
I know you don’t understand right now. Remember, God’s Word says, “You do not realize now what I am doing, but later you will understand” (John 13:7). One day, all these confusing moments will come together, and you’ll see a beautiful picture unfolding from every piece. Every tear, every late-night prayer, every whisper to God that you thought went unheard—they’re all part of a story He’s writing, just for you.
I want you to know how beautiful you are, inside and out. There’s a light in you that shines so brightly, and though it may feel dim sometimes, it’s still there, steady and constant. You were made by God’s own hands, perfectly crafted with a unique place in this world and a purpose in His Kingdom. The dreams He has for you are bigger than anything you can imagine. He’s going to use you in ways that will leave you in awe, in ways that make you feel seen and deeply loved.
I wish I could take away your pain. I wish I could wrap you up and shield you from every hardship, every sorrow. But God has a plan, and sometimes pain is a part of the journey that brings us closer to Him. All that you’re going through, every hard moment, is leading you toward a life that’s so much greater than you can see right now. Your life isn’t defined by the hurt you carry. You’re moving toward a beautiful story that God has written for you, one with so much hope and joy.
When bad things happen, it’s easy to blame yourself, but remember this truth: you are not the cause of every difficult moment. Sometimes, things happen that are outside our control. But God still loves you, even when life doesn’t make sense, even when the world feels heavy. He loves you when you feel unlovable, when you feel weak, and when you wonder if you have what it takes to keep going. His love for you is unwavering, steady, and constant.
Keep forgiving, sweet girl, even when it’s hard. Keep loving, even when others don’t understand. Keep feeling, even when it hurts. Let your heart be soft, for that is where God will do His greatest work in you. He listens to every whispered prayer, every cry in the middle of the night. He is with you, watching over you, protecting you in ways you can’t yet see. You are more guarded and cherished than you realize, held close by a God who knows your every fear and loves you fiercely.
And as you take each step forward, remember this: You’re not alone. You are loved, deeply and eternally, by a God who will never leave your side.
With love,
The person you’re becoming
Beautiful. I hope each person gets a better understanding of what they are going through and getting ready for. Your way of expressing the time and effort of growing can talk to anyone if only they let the Lord help us with keeping the heart open . I'm not going to be able to explain it but I know that He is everlasting and bigger than the time and effort to get to this point.. very blessed to be your mom and proud of you always. I love you so very much.
